Work on the Grant Park Townloft Development, some of the priciest new homes in Royal Oak, is set to wrap up in October. The first residents are expected to move in shortly after.
So far 7 of the 17 units near downtown Royal Oak have been sold. The three-story townlofts are on 4th Street overlooking Grant Park and are priced at $550,000 a piece. Each unit is built as a townhouse but the interior has loft-style details, like high ceilings and exposed ducts.
Each unit has a private entrance, a balcony facing Grant Park and an attached, two-car garage. The units also come with cathedral ceilings with exposed wood beams. They range in size from 2,200 square feet to 2,800 square feet.
